【摘要】:Essentialdataelementsshallbeincludedintheequipmentrecordtoprovideefficientandeffectivemanagementofproperty.Optionaldataelementsarepartoftherecorddependingontheentityx2019;sneedorowner''srequirements,orboth.Optionaldataelementsarenotlimitedtothosecitedinthispractice.Useofthispracticewillresultingreaterefficiencyinthemanagementofequipmentincludingitsmonitoring,performanceofphysicalinventories,selfassessments,disposition,etc.1.1Thispracticeisnotintendedtobeusedforthecreationofmaterialrecords.1.2Thispracticepresentsbothessentialandoptionaldataelementscontainedwithinanequipmentrecord.1.3Essentialdataelementsarerequisiteandshallbeincludedinaequipmentrecordtoensureefficient,effectivemanagementandcontrolofequipmentandtoprovideinformationregardingthestatustomanagement,users,orcustomers.1.4Optionaldataelementsareapplicabletoequipmentrecordsdependingupontheneedsoftheentity.Notalloptionaldataelementsarerequiredorapplicabletoallentities.1.5Thedivisionofdataelementsintoessentialandoptionaldataelementsallowsthispracticetobeappliedacrossawidespectrumofapplications.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
